JUMP5 RETIRES!
FINAL CONCERT PERFORMANCE WILL TAKE PLACE IN NASHVILLE ON DECEMBER 16TH

December 7, 2007

Jump5 (NASHVILLE, TENN.) -- Nashville's popular downtown music venue Rocketown will host JUMP5's final concert appearance on Sunday, December 16, 2007. The doors open at 6:00pm, and the show starts at 7:00pm. JUMP5 will be joined by opening acts pureNRG, Cali and Jessie Daniels - three artists who have been touring with the group on this fall's "Hello & Goodbye Tour."

The show will feature a special appearance by former JUMP5 member Libby Hodges, who will perform with the group.

"We're so excited that Libby will be making an appearance at this last show," says JUMP5's Brittany Hargest. "We started with her, and we wanted to end with her as well!"

General admission tickets are $15 in advance at www.etix.com, and $20 at the door. VIP tickets are available for $50 at www.jump5.com, and includes a pre-show meet and greet pizza party with the band and early admission to the venue.

"It's hard to believe that everything is ending after this show," says Brittany. "We've spent our last nine years together doing shows and touring the country, and its all coming to an end. We have been so blessed to be a part of your lives for so long and we thank you for being there with us every step of the way."

JUMP5 hit the music scene in 2001, billing themselves as a family-friendly alternative to the PG-13 pop music that was exploding into the marketplace. Siblings Brandon and Brittany Hargest, along with childhood friends Lesley Moore, Chris Fedun and Libby Hodges (who left the group in 2004) quickly became a teen phenomenon, touring worldwide and selling over 1.4 million albums. The group's non-stop touring had them performing in churches across the country, as well as taking the stage at major venues while touring with such artists as teen pop star Aaron Carter, A*teens, Baha Men and numerous Radio Disney tours. The group also performed for millions on national television with appearances on major outlets including The Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Regis and Kelly and CBS Early Show, to name a few. They performed for President George W. Bush at The White House, and found their songs prominently featured in numerous major motion pictures, including The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Sleepover, Spy Kids, Ella Enchanted, Ice Princess, Beauty & the Beast and Brother Bear, as well as television programs like MTV's Newport Harbor, Disney Channel's Kim Possible and Lilo & Stitch, for which they recorded the theme song.

JUMP5 released their farewell album Hello & Goodbye (featuring the Radio Disney hit "Shoot the Moon") in August 2007, and embarked on a 30-city North American tour sponsored by Kingdom Kidz Club and Shoutlife.com, performing for over 25,000 people this fall. As a final gift to fans, they headed back into the studio to record the all-new holiday album, Christmas Like This, which is now available exclusively online at iTunes, Rhapsody and all major digital outlets. Both albums were released by Nashville-based Slanted Records.
